The House Passed the Healthcare Reform Bill

The House has adopted the Senate version of the Healthcare Reform Bill by a 219 to 212 vote. Among other things, the legislation will require most Americans to acquire health insurance, increase Medicaid enrollment by almost 50%, and impose regulations on private insurance to prohibit them from denying coverage based on pre-existing conditions.
